Surviving Sudden Death Encounters™
Advanced tactics and training for surviving sudden violent attack

Surviving Sudden Death Encounters
Surviving Sudden Death Encounters™ addresses the most extreme personal defense situations.

What do you do when you are attacked at close range with such speed and fury that you are unable to use conventional blocking techniques or get to your weapon? How do you survive an explosive, violent attack that will crush and overwhelm your existing defenses?

The Tactical Defense Training™ Surviving Sudden Death Encounters™ has the answers. This course addresses the most extreme personal defense situations imaginable, such as surviving an overwhelming rage-based swarm attack that originates in the kill zone by a bigger, stronger and faster assailant, or defending against armed multiple opponents in a confined environment. The SSDE course goes beyond the Shield Defense System™ into the realm of absolute worst-case scenarios. Sudden death encounters represent the most dangerous and life-threatening situations in which an officer may find himself.

With the focus on avoidance, incident prevention and confrontation management techniques, officers learn unique and innovative Tactical Positioning Concepts™ that allow them to understand and deal with sudden violent attacks and provide them with the positional and tactical advantage they need to survive.

Officers learn how to handle close quarter, face-to-face assaults by controlling their position and level of awareness and by acquiring the ability to react, respond and intercept the attack at its initial inception. Even in the absolute worst-case scenario, it is possible for an officer to stop an overwhelming attack, neutralize the attacker, and draw his/her firearm — all in a matter of seconds.

The secret lies in developing simple, "positional-based, autokinetic responses" that allow for immediate and reflexive countermeasures when attacked suddenly. Officers learn to use their instincts, to focus their thoughts in potentially explosive situations, and to react effectively within a fraction of a second. Surviving Sudden Death Encounters™ provides in-depth, reality-based instruction in close quarter battle (CQB) and the survival of explosive life-threatening assaults during which you can not utilize your firearm immediately. Surviving Sudden Death Encounters™ is a must for all officers in the line of fire.
