experience in tactical officer survival and alternative methods
of suspect control, designed
specifically for the tactical team officer. It is one of the
most direct, effective and efficient force-on-force S.W.A.T. training
programs available anywhere. The emphasis of the training is
on no-shoot,
no-time-to-shoot hostile resistance scenarios as well as the
highly acclaimed Shield Defense System™ and the Surviving
Sudden Death Encounters™ program. Compliance techniques are
designed to overwhelm the resistant suspect, catching him in an
explosive surge
of non-lethal force. You'll learn proven techniques designed
to instantly defeat unarmed aggressors who try to block or slow
your
tactical
team (while you're hampered with 50 lbs. of gear). This highly
acclaimed program has been learned and tested by numerous S.W.A.T.
and Special
Operations teams.
The TDT Shield SWAT School™ begins with
a worst-case, use-of-force demonstration and moves directly into
instruction on team survival
techniques. Training culminates with scenario work against unarmed
suspect aggression and sudden death weapons encounters. Classes
can be customized to fit your team or agency needs.
