Integrating unarmed combat with the tactical

The situation is volatile. You've drawn your weapon,
but at this moment, lethal force is not called for. You legally or
morally cannot shoot, but you may have to fight. What do you do?
The truth is that, shooting someone in self-defense
is a rare incident even for the police, but having to physically
deal with, stop or
deter an aggressor is much more common.
What do you do if you've drawn your weapon and
cannot legally use it but the suspect still poses a potential threat?
What happens
if they stop their aggression only to explode on you with an attack
cloaked in deception? Even if your decision is to fire in self-defense
there is no guarantee that you will hit or stop your attacker.
What
other options do you have? Do you reholster? Can you strike and
control the suspect with the weapon in your hand? What about sympathetic
reflex actions? All these questions are answered in the Integrated
Tactical Handgun™ course.
Integrated force training provides the ability
to interface the handgun with less-than-lethal force options in shoot,
no-shoot
encounters.
ITH teaches simple techniques needed to stop physical aggression
(with or without) a firearm in hand and how to do it quickly and
effectively. You'll learn how to deliver a blow that will knock
an aggressor off his feet in a single move. How to defend against
violent
attack at close range and how to effectively overwhelm an attacker
in seconds while maintaining control of your weapon. Utilizing
a modification of the Shield Defense System™, Integrated Tactical
Handgun™ instructs students in a simple, reality-based method
of integrating force-on-force techniques with your combative firearm
tactics.
